Most of the largest Hindu Temples reside here. Studded with complex architecture, variety of sculptures, and rich inscriptions, the temples remain the very essence of the culture and heritage of Tamil land, with historical records dating back to at least 3,000 years.The state also abounds with a large number of temple tanks. The state has 2,359 temple tanks located in 1,586 temples. The government has identified 1,068 tanks for renovation.
Day 01 : Chennai (Arrival)
On arrival at Chennai Airport/Railway station. Transfer to hotel. Check in & evening visits the Marina beach (World’s Second largest beach). Overnight stay at Chennai (Capital ofTamilnadu).
Day 02 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Morning sightseeing of St. Fort George, Kapaleeswarar temple and drive to Kanchipuram to visit Kamatchi Amman temple, Kailasanathar temple and Ekambareshwar temple than drive to Mahabalipuram. Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.
Day 03 : Mahabalipuram
Morning sightseeing of Mahishashuramardini Cave, Pancha Pandava Rathas, Tiger Cave, and evening overall view of Mahabalipuram from the light house, Evening sea shore temple (Belongs to 8th Century AD) and relax in the beach. Overnight Stay at Mahabalipuram.
Day 04 : Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
Morning a sort drive to Pondicherry check in and refresh yourself we will visit Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple, Auroville then back to the hotel. Evening Aurobindo Ashram, Beach & Botanical Garden. Overnight stay at Pondicherry.
Day 05 : Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Tanjore
Morning drive to Tanjore on the way we visit Chidambaram Nataraja Temple and Gangaikondacholapuram Temples, check in Tanjore hotel relax in the evening and Overnight stay in Tanjore.
Day 06 : Tanjore – Madurai
Morning Visit Brihadeswara Temple (Big Temple than Visit Palace, Art Gallery and Museum than drive to Madurai check in hotel relax evening visit light and music show in Tirumalai Nayak Palace. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 07 : Madurai – Trichy
Morning visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, Vandi Mariamman Temple and Tiruparankundram Temple (Arupadai Veedu of lord Muruga) than drive to trichy, check in relax and visit Srirangam Temple. Overnight Stay at Trichy.
Day 08 : Trichy – Chennai
Morning visit Rock Fort Temple and drive to Chennai check in hotel relax and evening visit Parthasarathy Temple and you can purchase things in Express Avenue (Shopping Complex) and Overnight Stay at Chennai.
Day 09 : Chennai (Departure)
