Temples of the Indian State of Karnataka illustrate the varieties of architecture prevalent in various periods. Day 01 : Bangalore - Kukke Subrahmanya 
Arrival in Bangalore railway station /airport transfer to hotel after visit Bangalore city tour. After Dinner and overnight drive to Kukke Subrahmanya.

Day 02 : Kukke Subramanya - Dharmasthala - Kodyadka - Kateel - Udupi

Kukke Subramanya, a popular religious destination which is surrounded by lush green forest along with hills. It is situated on the banks of the Kumaradhara River. On arrival, visit to the main temple and Adi Subrahmanya. Then proceed to Dharmasthala, the holy abode for Hindu's. Visit to the Sri Manjunathaswamy Temple, the main attraction of Dharmasthala and have a darshan of Lord Manjunatha Swamy (Shiva). Visit to Rathnagiri to see the statue of Bhagawan Bahubali or Gommateshwara and Badinade (Annappa) Betta. After lunch at Dharmasthala, proceed to Moodbidri 1000 pillar temple, also called Tribhuvana Tilaka Chudamani. This is a large granite temple built in 1430 A.D. The 2.5 metres tall bronze image of Lord Chandranatha Swami in the sanctum of this basadi is considered to be very sacred. The pillars of this 1000 pillar temple are decorated with carvings typical of Vijayanagara style. Then proceed to Kodyadka Annapooneshwari Temple also known as Hosanadu. The Hosanadu Kodyadka Annapooneshwari temple is surrounded by evergreen woods rich in natural beauty, with abundance of flora and fauna. Then proceed to Kateel Durga Parameshwari Temple, located on the banks of River Nandini. On arrival at Kateel, check in to the hotel and visit Durgaparameshwari Temple, the main attraction of Kateel and Dinner at the temple thereafter. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the Hotel.



Day 03 : Udupi - Saligrama - Anegudde - Murudeshwara - Idagunji - Gokarna

This is the 3rd day of your temple tour package. Early morning, visit to the temple at Kateel and offer morning prayers and return to the hotel. After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Udupi. Udupi is popular for the Krishna Temple, and lends its name to the popular Udupi cuisine. Udipi is first among the seven places of pilgrimages. Visit the temple and offer the prayers to Lord Krishna. Then proceed to Anegudde Siddhi Vinayaka Kshetra. Enroute, visit Guru Narasimha Temple at Saligrama. Then proceed to Murudeshwara, a temple and beach town lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murudeshwara Temple. The main attraction of this place is world's second - tallest Shiva statue and 20 storied Gopura (237.5 feet) is constructed at the temple. Visit Shiva statue and Lord Murudeshwara Temple, built on the Kanduka Hill which is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian Sea. Then proceed to Gokarna, a siddhi kshetra. On the way to Gokarna, visit Idgunji, which has the famous Vinayaka temple. The temples at Murudeshwara, Gokarna and Idagunji are ancient with a history of more than 1500 years. On arrival Gokarna, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 04 : Gokarna - Sirsi - Sonda - Banavasi - Sirsi

Early morning after Bath, visit to Mahabaleshwara Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site amongst Indian Places. The Mahabaleshwar temple enshrines the Atma Linga of Lord Shiva. Legend says that the holy Linga was given by Lord Shiva to King Ravana to make his kingdom an invincible fortress. Then proceed to visit Tamra Gowri Temple and Ganapathi Temple at Gokarna and return to the Hotel. After breakfast, checkout the hotel and proceed to Sirsi. On arrival at Sirsi, proceed to Sahasralinga, a beautiful place in Western Ghats where hundreds of Lingas are carved in stone in Shalmala River in North Canara. Then proceed to Sonda Vadiraja Mutt. After lunch, check in to the hotel. After some time, visit Banavasi. Banavasib was capital of Kadamba ruler, Mayura. The main attraction of Banavasi is Madhukeshwara Temple built in the 9th century and dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is protected by the archeological survey of India (ASI). Evening, visit Sri Marikamba temple, the 16th century Marikamba temple in Sirsi is main attraction of Sirsi and it is one of the important seats of shakti worship in Karnataka. Sri Marikamba Temple houses a huge idol of Goddess, which is about seven feet tall. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 05 : Sirsi - Jogfalls - Sigandur - Kollur

On day 05 early morning, check out the hotel and proceed to Jog Falls. Jog Falls is the second - highest waterfalls of India. Jog Falls is also called by alternative names of Gersoppa Falls and Jogada Gundi. The magnificent Jog Falls is unquestionably the grandest natural beauty in Karnataka, rich as it is in splendid scenery. After enjoying the beauty of the Jog Falls, proceed to Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple, located near river Sharavathi. The location is itself very extraordinary as the temple is surrounded by greenery on one side and the river on the other. The Sigandur temple is very unique in itself, as the Goddess is self manifest and is very powerful. Godess Chowdeshwari is very powerful goddess where in prayed honestly gets results positive. After getting the blessings of Chowdeshwari Temple at Sigandur, proceed to Kollur. Kollur lies at the foot of the Western Ghats and the main attraction of Kollur is temple dedicated to Goddess Mookambika. On arrival at Kollur, check in to the Hotel. Evening visit to the Mookambika Temple, one of the important places of pilgrimage in Karnataka. The panchaloha image of thegoddess on Shri Chakra is stated to have been consecrated by Shri Adi Shankaracharya. Afterdinner at temple dining hall, return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 06 : Kollur - Sringeri - Horanadu - Bangalore

Morning after breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Sringeri. Enroute, enjoy the scenery of Agumbe Ghat. Sringeri is located on the banks of river Tunga and it is the site of the first mutt established by Adi Shankaracharya. The main attraction of Sringeri is Sri Sharadamba Temple and Vidya Shankara Temple. The Vidyashankara temple is an architectural marvel. Visit these two temples. After visiting temples at Sringeri, proceed to Horanadu. Horanadu is located amidst natural vegetation, forest, green lands and natural beauty of the Western Ghats. Installation of goddess of Food, Adishakthyathmaka Sri Annapoorneshwari was done by his holiness Agasthya Maharishi several centuries back. On arrival at Horanadu, check in to the hotel and relax for time and then in evening, visit to the temple and offer prayers to the Goddess and dinner in the temple dining hall. After dinner, depart from Horanadu and overnight drive to Bangalore.



Day 07 : Morning, Arrival at Bangalore

Morning, on arrival at Bangalore, transfer to the Railway Station/Airport. Trip ends
